Every morning this week, with the buzz of my alarm, I have had to drag myself (and my child) out of bed–consuming copious amounts of coffee just to get my eyelids to stay in the upright position. But when it’s still light out at 7pm, that early morning torment is entirely worth it.
Today, the sun is shining and it is gorgeous outside. I don’t know if it’s the weather, but I have a little spring in my step.
This has always been my favorite time of the year. I love the warm air. The longer days. Sandals and sundresses!
We have had a pretty mild winter here in Boulder, but the return of warm days is no less delightful than if we were emerging from winter in Alaska.
So here’s to the promise of spring. Even if you are still bundled in boots and warm winter coats, spring is just around the corner.
It’s a time of rebirth. Of new life. New patterns. New possibilities.
Be open. Change is in the air.
